Both Harvard hockey teams will play at least one game on national television this season, as part of Friday Night Hockey on College Sports Television (CSTV).
CSTV, the first 24-hour college sports network, announced the series' first 17 games on Tuesday. The remaining games -- including postseason -- have yet to be determined.
Only one first-half date includes women's teams, but the selection garners great anticipation. Minnesota-Duluth hosts Harvard on Dec. 12, in a rematch featuring the same teams and venue which produced last year's double-overtime NCAA championship game, viewed by many as a landmark event for women's hockey.

The Harvard men's team will take its turn on the national stage in CSTV's last
scheduled game of the first half, when defending ECAC champion Cornell comes
to Bright Hockey Center on Jan. 9 for another installment in a rivalry that
has produced several classic games over the last two seasons. Ticketmaster
The series debuts Oct. 3 when St. Lawrence visits Miami. Mike Eruzione, captain of the "Miracle on Ice" 1980 U.S. Olympic team, will provide studio analysis on select Fridays.
ECAC NOTES
Don Vaughan, the Colgate men's hockey coach for the last 11 seasons, will take leave of his coaching duties this school year to serve as the school's interim athletic director, the university announced yesterday. Vaughan has been Colgate's coach since 1992 and has a 179-172-33 record, including a 24-9-2 record and trip to the NCAA tournament in 1999-2000.
Vaughan takes over for Senior Associate Director of Athletics Janet Little, who became interim AD when Mark Murphy left for Northwestern in May. Colgate associate coach Stan Moore, head coach at Union for two seasons and 1996-1997 ECAC coach of the year, will be interim head coach this season. Ticketmaster
Including Moore's interim promotion, four of 12 teams in the ECAC have new head coaches. The others are Kevin Sneddon at Vermont, former Harvard assistant Nate Leaman at Union and George Roll at Clarkson. Ticketmaster
Amid the change, Harvard returns all but three regular players and will likely be the favorite to win the regular season title when the league's preseason media and coaches polls are released Monday in Albany, N.Y.
