Marcel Hossa scored with 2:40 left in the third period to lead the Montreal Canadiens to a 3-2 preseason win over the Minnesota Wild on Friday night.
Sheldon Souray and Michael Ryder scored to tie it in the second after Minnesota took a 2-0 lead on power-play goals by Sergei Zholtok and Alexandre Daigle early in the period.

lift Montreal to its second win in eight preseason games (2-4-0-2).

Minnesota was on its third man-advantage of the game midway through the period when Souray one-timed Niklas Sundstrom's 2-on-1 pass into an open right side for a shorthanded goal at 11:01.

The Canadiens, who have lost forwards Saku Koivu and Chad Kilger to injuries, selected Darren Langdon from Vancouver and Steve Begin from Buffalo in Friday's waiver draft. Neither is expected to join the team in time for its final preseason game Saturday in Ottawa.
